The Zambezi Sun Hotel is located in a prime position on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. The hotel is a resort-style complex, and is fun and welcoming, making it suitable for families, singles and couples.

The architecture at the Zambezi Sun is eclectic and inspired by African tradition, and the feel of an old walled city. The restaurant and bar are positioned around the large, central pool area, while the communal areas are bight, bold and spacious.

Don’t be surprised to find the occasional zebra wandering through the Zambezi Sun’s well maintained grounds, while you’re relaxing in the bright Zambian sunshine.

The Victoria Falls is just a short walk away, giving you the opportunity to engage in the many activities offered there, as all guests are offered complimentary Falls access.

For an adventurous experience, you could go bungee jumping or whitewater rafting, or for a more relaxing time, go for a boat cruise down the river.

Rooms

Accommodation at the Zambezi Sun has been designed with singles, couples and families in mind, offering you a choice of holiday lodgings.

The 212 guestrooms are open, airy and decorated with bright mosaics and ethnic Zambian wall stencils. All rooms are air-conditioned, have satellite TV and spacious bathrooms with a separate bath and shower.

Each room has a private patio, which overlooks either the African bush or the central swimming pool.

There are 4 suites, which offer you more in terms of luxury and space. For families there are 39 rooms with queen-size beds and sleeper couches. 2 rooms are available with paraplegic facilities.

Dining

The Zambezi Sun has a colourful family-friendly buffet restaurant. Breakfast options are plentiful and include fruit, pastries and traditional English breakfast goodies with eggs cooked to order. Dinner has something for everyone - from kudu stew to pizza slices.

You can also enjoy poolside lunches at the alfresco grill in the themed entertainment area.
