This advanced waterpark in South Africa is dominated by a large lagoon which has a wave machine capable of generating 1.8 metre waves every 90 seconds. Exhilaration and thrills are what you will find at the Suncity water park with five flume rides. For the less adventurous visitor to the resort there is the 'Lazy River', perfect for a gentle ride. On the other end of the scale, the Temple of Courage drops swimmers 17 metres down a death-defying slide and under a bridge with a final splash into a small pool. This amazing feature of the Suncity Resort also offers a food court with tasty fast foods for those having too much fun to stop! Please note: The Valley of Waves, Dungeon, Amphitheatre and Observatory Deck at Suncity will be closed for annual maintenance from 25 May - 30 June 2009, both dates inclusive. Residents at The Palace will be asked to use the shuttle to gain access to the Entertainment Centre.
